If You Love Something, Let It Go

My opinion of the whole '3 weeks' separation: I agree it may help him out on becoming a better man for himself, but I don't know how it will affect us in a relationship. Its poetic when someone recites "if you love something let it go, if it comes back to you, then its yours" but it's not reality because your playing with someone's emotions thinking to let a relationship go to see if it will be the same or become better. It's a game when a person does that. Right?
